Dukefield Brands Attend the 2019 Schools & Academies Show

Dukefield brands Foodservice Options and UPG recently attended the 2019 Schools and Academies Show in Birmingham.

Foodservice Options showcased a range of compliant food contracts, catering support services such as kitchen audits as well as learning.

Susan Morris, Foodservice Options CEO said: “We’ve seen how in every school that moves its catering in-house, the take-up of meals improves, often because they can be more responsible and offer their pupils more of what they actually need. We’ve also been able to assist some schools in providing an in-house catering service to smaller schools located nearby, particularly in rural areas.”

UPG provided visitors with an overview of their energy procurement offer which is an EU compliant service designed to cater specifically for the energy needs of all education establishments.

James Clancy, UPG Assistant Director said, “It was great to be at such an event especially as we are celebrating the one year anniversary for the Utilities Supplies and Services framework which has saved CPC members 12.5% on average for a combined total of £1 million.”
